We’re delighted to share that Chrysalis Finance has been recognised as a Disability Confident Leader – the highest level of accreditation under the UK Government’s Disability Confident scheme.

This places us in a group of just over 30 UK Financial Services organisations and around 700 organisations in total to have achieved this status, and it reflects our ongoing commitment to creating a workplace where everyone can thrive.

Becoming a Disability Confident Leader means we’ve had our practices independently validated, and we’re taking meaningful action to attract, retain and develop talented people of all abilities. It also means we’re helping to champion disability inclusion across our networks and supply chains.

Just as we believe every patient deserves access to the healthcare they need, we believe every employee deserves the right support and opportunity to succeed.

In creating the initiatives that led to this recognition, we involved and listened to our own Chrysalis Finance staff, basing our actions on their expectations and recommendations. Consequently, we developed:

• Leaders’ sharing and learning workshops to bring our teams together to share experiences and learn from one another, creating space for open conversations about inclusion.
• Disability passports to ensure that when employees need adjustments or support, this information travels with them through the organisation, removing barriers and keeping support consistent.
• Openness application statement and business statements to set out our commitment publicly, so potential employees know Chrysalis Finance welcomes openness about disability and wellbeing.

We’re also actively engaging with our teams to understand what support they’d like to see next, because the people who work here know best what will make a real difference.
