The winners are here!

It’s been another amazing year, where individuals in our partner network have gone above and beyond to deliver excellent patient care. It’s time to recognise and reward outstanding team members in the 2024  Chrysalis Finance Patient Care Awards.

We asked for nominations and you responded with over 1000 stories of dedication, kindness, smart thinking and willingness to do whatever it takes to ensure the best patient care. We were, once again, bowled over by the quality of the nominations and it is heartwarming to know that patients are in such good hands.

And the winners are…

Choose our winners was difficult because all the nominees were deserving, but we got there in the end and we have some very worthy award winners. They all demonstrate, through their daily actions, the values we know are shared by all our partner clinics.

Our list of winners also highlights how important every member of a clinic’s team is, with, among many other roles, dentists, patient care coordinators and practice managers winning awards. The selfless dedication they all bring to their job each day is impressive, and here are just a few examples:

Janette Miller of Distinctly Dental

In her six years with Distinctly Dental, Janette has become an integral and much-valued team member. As receptionist and lead dental nurse, she puts patients first every time. Feedback from patients is that she is kind and welcoming, takes on board their needs and goes above and beyond to help them. Within the team, she is the first to offer assistance when it’s requested and she can always be relied on to do an outstanding job.

Veronica Diaz Fernandes of Le Dental South Hampstead

Veronica is friendly and outgoing, putting patients at ease with her warm and welcoming demeanour. At times of stress, she is calm, organised and reassuring. She knows her stuff too. As a dental receptionist, she takes the time to explain treatment plans and procedures to patients and is able to answer patients’ questions clearly and concisely, putting them at ease. Veronica only joined the dental practice last year and has already cemented her position as an asset to the team and a popular team member with the patients. Her organisational skills have proven crucial to the clinic’s recent reorganisation and she is always seeking ways to improve how things work at the clinic.

These examples are a snapshot of the patient care that is happening across our partner clinics every day. They demonstrate how important good patient care is to a successful clinic, and just how many teams and individuals are out there going the extra mile for their patients.
